After more than 10 years of proudly serving the Tasman region, R Fry Builders LTD has entered its next chapter as Legacy Builders Tasman.

Established in 2015 by founder Ruben Fry, R Fry Builders quickly grew into an award-winning local building company with the goal of creating a safe, encouraging, and happy workplace that supported locals, including local businesses. From the beginning, the focus was on employing and upskilling people from within the community, opening doors for them to enter the building trade.

Over the years, this commitment to people and quality workmanship was recognised through multiple Master Builder Gold Awards and Category wins. Ruben and his team achieved these high standards by communicating openly, listening to clients, putting people’s needs first, and ensuring the highest level of craftsmanship.

Now, Ruben has passed the reins to Stein Schreiber-Zwart and Tom Fitzsimmons, who are leading the business forward with the same passion, pride, and commitment that locals have trusted for over a decade. Both Stein and Tom bring extensive experience and a genuine dedication to the values that made R Fry Builders a respected local name: quality craftsmanship, honesty, and a down-to-earth approach. Having worked alongside Ruben, they understand the importance of combining skill with strong relationships and clear communication.

While the name may be new, the heart of the business remains unchanged. The same familiar team, trusted principles, and personalised service are still at the core of every project.
